Our Story

Haven on Hunter's Bay is a premier lake house rental experience on Lake Vernon, just moments away from downtown Huntsville in Muskoka.

 

The property provides a perfect blend of luxury and comfort and is equipped with top-notch amenities to ensure a memorable stay. Enjoy a private dock, sandy lakeshore, outdoor play structure, expansive deck, and cozy gas fireplaces. Our goal is to provide a premium experience that exceeds your vacation expectations.

Our lakefront home boast 5 spacious rooms, cozy interiors, and breathtaking views of Lake Vernon. The property has 100 feet of sandy waterfront for sunbathing and swimming.  You can soak up the sun and dine outdoors on the expansive deck with its gas BBQ. Use the private dock to boat  or go canoeing and paddleboarding

The property is outfitted for every season! Although summer is the ideal time to visit Muskoka, you can also delight in the fall colours or enjoy this cottage in winter with many nearby winter activities like snowshoeing, skiing or ice fishing.

Situated just 5 minutes from downtown Huntsville, our lakehouse rental offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Explore the beauty of Lake Vernon while being close to all the local attractions and amenities.

Algonquin Provincial Park is 40 minutes away and provides some of the most stunning fall colours in Canada. Arrowhead Provincial Park is 10 minutes away and offers fun winter and summer activities. Additionally, we are 10 minutes away from Hidden Valley Ski resort.

Absolutely beautiful cottage! Very clean and fully equipped with everything you need. We stayed there with our kids and family friends and had a blast! From swimming in the lake to canoeing and hiking, there’s plenty of things to do for the whole family.

This place was perfect for our family getaway, and just what we needed. The home was clean and tastefully decorated. It was in a convenient location- closer to downtown and Arrowhead provincial park. We stayed here in the winter, but would be great to come again in the summer/fall months to enjoy the dock and water.
